Really stupid clothing sizing question
So, I need to build up DDs winter wardrobe, I'm probably good until the start December because I can stretch out using her shortsleeved onsies by putting long sleeved white ones on underneath. However, DD will be 8 months old the end of this week. Most of her clothes are 6-9 months sizing and a few 9 months sizes. What in the world do I do when she outgrows this size (and she will by the beginning of December). Her pants will become too short (they already are starting to) and her onsies will be too tight. I don't see any 9-12 month size clothes, only 12 month after 9 month. 12 month sizing will be much too big on her.
What does everyone else do? Am I missing something? Do I just put her in 12 month sizes which will be huge on her?

Re: Really stupid clothing sizing question
I'd do 12 months...
DS always looks like an orphan child (in new clothes. lol) for a little bit when we get new clothes.
What about like, Carters 9 month? I always thought that was 9-12 mos...
Some brands run a little smaller, maybe try those out first?

I have the same issue.
I have been buying some 9 month stuff that runs big (she was in 6 month stuff all summer) and then mostly 12 month stuff.
The Old navy stuff runs small so I got her 12-18 month shirts from there and 6-12 month sweat pants and things.

Same here! DD will be 8 months old next week.
I held up the ON shirts 6-12 and 12-18... there wasn't much of a difference, so I went with the bigger ones. I try to judge stuff by looking at it... some 12 month stuff is on the small side and some of it is waaaay to big (even in the same store).

I have found that Target baby clothes run very big... You could always get the 9 months stuff there for a little bit...

Me too. DD is 11.5 mos and still wears some of her 6 mos stuff from Circo. Especially the pants. They tend to be kind of long.

Re: Really stupid clothing sizing question
When we hit the 9-12 month size I found that baby gap had 6-12 month size and that fit DS perfectly. I also went to the Carter's outlet, which has 9 month size clothing. I was never able to find that size in Macy's or Lord and Taylor.
