Recommend your affordable but awesome digital camera
I guess I'm kinda glad it died.
I can't afford DSLR, but I'd love something that's quick on the uptake. That shutter delay drives me nuts.
Any recs? TIA!

I've used a Canon Powershot and liked it a lot.
I will say, if you are going to spend over $300, I would put it away and save a bit more to get an SLR, you can get some good deals in the $500-600 range now

Re: Recommend your affordable but awesome digital camera
Is there a Nikon that is a good second camera that is not SLR? I have a D-60 but I want something for when I do not want to carry it. I'd rather have something with somewhat similar workings and presets. It does not have to be a tiny camera, just easier to carry than the D-60 might be at some places. I hate taking cell phone pics so I am not looking for something as small as a phone.

I have a Canon PowerShot SD1100IS Elf, and I HATE it. They delay between pics is Sooooooo rediculously long. I want to throw the thing out the window. I miss at least 75% of all shots.
