Re: Recommend your camera (or what to look for when buying one)
I am on my third and have yet to find a quick one. I am so frustrated with mine now (Canon SD800) that I have been shopping around for a DSLR. I was ready to buy the Nikon D40X or D80 but the salesman at Bestbuy was telling me that the Canon Rebel XTI was the way to go.

I have the SD850. I really like it, but I wouldn't call it "quicker".

I got the Canon SD870IS for X-mas and so far I love it. I also have the Canon S3IS and though not convenient in terms of size, takes awesome pictures too!

I have the Olympus stylus 790SW.
Well, its Waterproof up to 10 feet Shockproof up 5 feet and it has picture stabilization.
All the things a klutz like me needs!
It also has many other features that I love. It so small that it can fit in your pocket and the screen is large enough to see.
