Recurrent M/C Blood Panel Testing
Hi Ladies,
Those of you that had this blood work done, did it show anything that was causing the m/c's? I had the blood work done yesterday, I nearly passed out when it was done, I've never had that much blood taken before or that type of reaction. It literally took me the full day to recuperate. A LOT of blood was taken!

Wow great! Why did you have to have it more than once? Were you out of commission the whole day, or was that just me!?

Recurrent M/C Blood Panel Testing
i had the full thrombo and immune panels too. i only had to repeat the immune which is only about 5 vials, and not the thrombo which is like 20 or so. i used to be very sensitive to bloodwork but honestly months of infertility kind of desensitized me to it. so i literally went to get the bloodwork done on my lunchbreak and went back to work. i just made sure to eat something sugary before and after.
they did find issues. i couldnt pinpoint exactly which was the cause of my losses so we had to treat them all. i went on to have my now almost 2-year-old DD. good luck

Recurrent M/C Blood Panel Testing
The m/c panel did not show anything. However, my other doc ran a thyroid panel and found that my thyoroid was underactive - I am not sure if it was underactive before the miscarriage, or if it something that developed shortly after.

It is crazy how many possibilities there are! My regular doctor checked my thyroid the last time that I got blood work done.

Sorry, just saw this now.
No .. I did it once with Dr.Braverman... Then I when I went to another opinion (although I didn't cycle there) they ran the bloodwork all over again because they only trust their own labs so silly .. it came up with the same findings... Then when I went to my peri he ran the thrombo again for some reason, which wasn't 40 vials like I had originally, but around 20-25ish.
eta: the first time I was very tired and got a headache after but I think it was mostly in my head because I wasn't used to getting lots of bloodwork done and 'talked myself into' feeling sick. Every time after that I felt absolutely fine. You give more blood when you donate than when you give for the RPL panel. Good luck!

Re: Recurrent M/C Blood Panel Testing
Did the tests pretty much take two weeks to come back?
