Redness where the chicken pox shot was given?
I just looked it up and its normal to have redness and stiffness where the vaccination was given. DS got it at his 12m visit, 1.5 weeks ago (he got it late bc he was sick). Did anyone elses DC have redness at the injection spot? How long did it last?
eta: the redness is about the size of a dime, no rash or anything anywhere else.

Thanks Diana! Now I'm going crazy checking his body for other red spots too. His cheeks have been really red too I think it might just be from teething though.
Anyone else's DC have any other chicken pox reactions?

DS didn't have a reaction, but his pedi said that could happen along with a blister looking spot at the site. He also said that he could break out in pox looking spots on his body...Usually within 6-10 days after getting the shot...
