Re: Refrigerators....which style?

I have the French doors, bottom freezer style for my second, garage fridge, and that is what I prefer (my upstairs fridge is a top freezer, bottom fridge that was there when we bought the house).

I entertain a lot, so as others have said, I like having the width - I love being able to fit big platters in my fridge. The freezer compartment is nice and roomy but it's not SO deep that it becomes a bottomless pit. I have some shelves and organizing compartments in my bottom freezer, and I usually group "like items" together, so I don't have a problem finding things. But it is my spare fridge/freezer, so I tend to keep the more "everyday" items upstairs and extra things (extra frozen meals, extra ice cream), as well as frozen meat, in the fridge with the bottom freezer compartment.

But when I re-do my kitchen, I will definitely put a French door style fridge with bottom freezer upstairs as my main fridge, too!
