Re: registry question: clothing
Onesies most definitely. I did every size from 0-24 months and they were used.
Clothes, bibs, burp cloths and blankets...no! People love buying those things and you get a ton of it without even asking.

Re: registry question: clothing
We only registered for the plain white snap t shirts - DD slept in those every night for the first couple months (August baby).
We received a TON of clothes...at the shower, when she was born and people would come see her, hey it's October why not buy you some more clothes, oh look it's a new year you need more. We have too much that she's not able to wear it all in time.
We also received a bunch of blankets - a few handmade/crocheted.
We didn't register for bibs or pacifiers thinking that I've seen so many given at showers. We didn't receive many bibs but purchased using a gift card we received.

Re: registry question: clothing
I put very few articles of clothing on my registry. No onesies, about 4 pairs of socks, 3-5 bibs, no pajamas and about 6 swaddle blankets. Not having onesies worked out fine for us. Unknowingly I had a onesie cake with about 30 onesies in different sizes so that helped. Plus in the beginning I did tons of laundry so I was never at a loss for a clean onesie. I rarely used the swaddles. DD is an Aug baby so for a while she wore a onesie to bed. I also got the miracle blanket early on and she wore that right over the onesie.
ETA: I ended up with tons of clothes at my shower.

Re: registry question: clothing
I found people brought my DS a ton of clothing once he was born. If anything I would prob just put bibs and onesies.
