Repeat c-section moms...can you talk me down?

I'm pregnant with DC#2, DD just turned one year old.

Since I was about 6 weeks, I've noticed that I'm starting to feel the stretching of my incision. For instance, I was in the car before, and I had to sneeze. I tried to lean forward to slacken the muscles in front, but it didn't work and it sent a HUGE shockwave of pain through the right side of my lower abdomen--so much that I came right home, just in case (I was in the middle of running some errands).

Anyone else go through this? I know I'm being paranoid, but when it hurts that badly, I can almost picture it tearing open from the pressure Chat Icon

3 c-sections in 3 years here.

Normal, and it will happen more as you get bigger. There is a lot of scar tissue that is going to break up and stretch. The pulling and tearing pain is normal.

I never had that but my OB said longer between pregnancies the better healed you are which id probably why they recommended not getting pregnant until my 1st was at least 15-18 months old (my girls are 23 months apart).

totally normal. My DC will be 23 months apart and in the 1st trimester I had so much pulling in my incision.

My kids are 3 years apart and I felt what you are referring to when I was pregnant with my 2nd. I found my incision area to be very sensitive during my pregnancy and even after.
