I have a few pieces from both. I love my anthropologie stuff but it's hit or miss. I've had pieces for 10+ years and love them... But they are mostly coats and stuff I wear occasionally.
I love madewell jeans. That's all I have from them.
I found NY&co affordable and hold up well. I live in their stuff fir work but they have nicer casual pieces too!
I have had such horrible luck with NY & Co. the last few years. The seams don't match up at all, the fabric is super thin, and it pills really quickly like ON stuff.
I got a really good coupon in the mail for Express, is that higher quality? I haven't shopped there in years, I used to buy work pants but that's about it.

I am also trying to revamp my wardrobe and I just bought 4 dresses from Banana Republic for $100! One dress alone had an original price of $159!
