rides at Disney
What rides will my 18 month old be able to go on? We are going for 5 days the week after Thanksgiving. We plan on hitting every park except Animal Kingdom. I can't go on anything, I will be 23 weeks PG, but I am hoping there is enough that DH can go on with him?

Re: rides at Disney
Most of the rides your DC can go on adults can ride too, esp at MK. At Epcot, there isn't much at all IMO ride wise. And DHS there are a few shows that you included will go on, more than rides (Little Mermaid, Disney Junior). I think your DC can go on Toy Story (not sure based on the age) with your DH. You can all go in the Muppets show.
The park with the most rides for young kids is MK, and yes, adults will generally ride all the rides with the kids. hth and have fun!

Re: rides at Disney
We went to DW with my DD when she was 18 months and I was 12 weeks pregnant. You can pretty much go on anything your DC can go on, and there's LOTS of rides kids that little can go on! The only ones I can think of that you both can't go on are all the roller coasters - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Rockin Rollercoaster...things like that. You can look at the park maps before you go too! Have a great time!

Re: rides at Disney
Your DC will be able to do pretty much anything w/o a height restriction. Also, I went to Disney at 24 weeks pregnant and was able to do any rides w/o a height restriction. So you might be able to go on some things, unless your dr told you not to...

rides at Disney
I was just there with my 10m. At magic kingdoms they can do all but a few. The other parks there are not as many.

Re: rides at Disney
Wait did you say there is nothing in WDW that you can ride? Most rides in WDW are okay for pregnant women and babies and small kids. That is why disney is great. Yes the roller coasters and a few things with height restrictions are out but anything you can't ride your DC won't be able to ride either.
Rides that are out- splash and space mountain, big thunder mountain railroad, tower of terror, rock n roller coaster, test track, mission space etc are a few. Honestly it leaves a large amount that are okay. I know plenty of people who went pregnant and had a fabulous time. Just remember extra water and take lots of breaks.
Btw if you are skipping a park unless you want to do 90% shows there are more restrictions for holkywood studios than for AK. I would pick one morning for HS and one morning for AK. At that age my girls liked AK better than HS. I think HS is a bit better when theyget older bc it is a lot of shows and fewer ridesfor little ones. But it is worth going for a short time for disney jr show, muppets show, toy story ride and a few other thing.
I went newly pregnant but my OB only limited me to things disney recommends pregnant women not ride. Also he let me ride the safari ride.. speak with your OB some I know restrict this and others don't. My OB said he felt it wasn't that bumpy but others say no.

Re: rides at Disney
I will be there the same time as you with my 24 month old! We also took him when he was 13 months and he had a great time. Just wanted to mention that my son loved Animal Kingdom and seeing all the animals. I don't blame you for skipping but like a previous poster mentioned theres not much for the kids at Epcot but a lot for them to do see at AK. Also I went when I was 27 wks pregnant and I went on most of the rides including splash mounthain.... ...could explain why my son is a little crazy lol
Where are you guys staying? We will be at port orleans

Thanks for all of the great advice! I don't know why I assumed I couldn't go on any rides. But i'm happy I was wrong!!

Re: rides at Disney
Your DC will be able to ride any ride without a height restriction. The same is true for you too! When I went at 25 weeks pregnant with my then 3yo, we were able to go on the same rides. As others have said, you'll want to stay away from the roller coasters, splash mountain etc. I also chose not to go on the safari.
As for Toy Story Mania, DH took 15 month old DS on it and he was fine. They allowed him to sit on DH's lap.
Don't miss the Nemo ride at Epcot, it's one of my kid's favorites.
There will be plenty for all of you to do together. Have fun!
