Ridiculously easy and delicious chicken recipe!
Chicken With Creamy Dijon Herb Sauce
1/2 cup chicken broth
6 tbsp dijon mustard
1/3 cup cream cheese, softened
1 tbsp minced herbs (parsley, basil or chives)
1 tbsp oil
4 (6 oz.) boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tsp minced garlic
Mix broth, mustard, cream cheese and herbs until well blended, set
aside. Cook chicken in hot oil in a nonstick skillet until browned on
both sides, about 15 min. Stir in mustard sauce and garlic. Simmer
over medium heat 3 to 5 minutes until sauce thickens slightly and
flavors are blended.
Recipe can also be baked. We doubled the sauce recipe because we like a LOT of sauce with our meal - we made it with rice to soak up all the sauce and it was amazing!

I swear, I just ripped this out of the coupon section of Sunday's papers...is that where you got it?
Looks sooo yummy....but DH hates mustard. But I'd make it for myself though

That's what I did too!
Yes that is exactly what I did Sorry I didn't mean to pass it off as my own!  Honestly it does not taste very "mustardy" at all, the cream cheese really cuts it.

Do you have tastebuds?  
My sinuses are cleared out now for the rest of my life.
Seriously, either I'm very sensitive to spicy, the dijon I used was out of control (it was a French import), or I didn't use enough cream cheese. I'm glad I sampled it before I gave it to the girls. They got chicken nuggets.  Let's see what DH says when he eats it after work tonight.
I'm curious to see how others who made this felt... Is it me?!!

Sounds good!! Can you use dried basil or should it be fresh? I feel like I always end up throwing them out before I use them when I buy fresh...

I changed my menu tonight so we could try this!
I did NOT use 6 Tablespoons of mustard.. I doubled the cream cheese, broth and herbs and used about 8 GENEROUS TEASPOONS of mustard - then whisked and tasted it. It seemed just mustardy-y enough at that point. I also used extra garlic (a lot) and reserved juice from the chicken in the sauce. I'm waiting for my sons and hubs to get home to eat - but I did taste the finished sauce and it seems pretty tasty!
ETA: So we all ate. It was pretty good! Husband loved it. Kids were ambivalent.. but they can be picky!
