Sadly, I think I know the answer before I even post this...

My folks live upstate and we have plans to pack up the boys plus the dog and head up there today to celebrate Easter this weekend. Haven't seen each other since early March and can't see them again until late May.

DS (3yo) has had a stomach virus since Tues. It wasn't bad Wed or during the day yesterday but last night and early this AM, he's been vomiting.

My mom is terribly disappointed and wants to know if we can still come. I'm afraid that even if DS feels better, a 4 hr car ride could push him, then he'll get sick in the car, the 1yo will get sick when we're up there, DH or I could catch it and then be able to get back home on Sun, etc. ANYthing could go wrong.

But part of me thinks the kid is going to take a 4-5hr nap later today and why not let him sleep in the car, rest at Grandma's, no one else will be at Grandma's so no one else (cousins, aunts) would get sick, and then we'll all be fine for the ride home.

Am I crazy? I just miss my mom and want to get everyone together....I offered to invite her down, but DH doesn't want her or my stepdad to get sick, either. WWYD?
