WWYD? (Road-trip related)
We are supposed to be leaving for Atlanta around noon today, to spend Thanksgiving with my aunts, uncles and cousins.
DD (23 months) has been up since 1am. She's now been up almost 2 1/2 hours. Something is not right with her...I *think* it's her teeth, but I'm not positive...
We are ready to call the trip off. It's 4 1/2 hours in the car, and we are exhausted (I've now been up almost 24 hours straight). I'm so afraid that something else is wrong and that we're going to take her to a place she's never been, she's not going to sleep well, and then we'll come back more exhausted than we already are now. Plus, I'm terrified that we're going to get there and she's going to be sick.
WWYD? Would you stay or go?

Trust your mommy instincts. You dont want to get all the way there and it turn out to be more than teething. Will she eventually sleep at some point? Even for a few hpura straight during the day so you can get some rest? Any fever? Have you tried tylenol? If you guys can get some sleep today, feel her out, and you can always leave at her normal bedtime. Will she sleep in the car? Hang in there.

She wound up being up until 4am . She may sleep a little later this morning, but she's never one to catch up on sleep during the day, even if she's really sick. Luckily our nanny is coming at 8, so it's my plan to hand them over and go back to sleep. Poor DH still has to work 1/2 day
We gave her Tylenol before bed because it seemed like her teeth were bothering her. No fever before that.
I guess we could consider leaving @ bedtime, but she's never been a good sleeper in the car She's very routine-oriented (no idea where that came from, sooooo not me!).
