Everyone remembers 9/11 as the whole of Rudy as mayor, but there were 7 years before that

Definitely see your point, but I do love Times Square now as opposed to what it was before! JMHO!
I have read alot about his admin. before 9/11 and I agree, definitely wasn't all peaches. I also agree that his rep. changed drastically after 9/11. There was a memory loss, before then he had an uphill road to climb.
But no questions asked, I'd vote him over Hillary any day.

I totally agree! I've met Hillary, she is an amazing, awe inspiring woman. She is a trail blazing woman.
Rudy was amazing in hte months following 9/11, he got NY through, BUT remember, he left office 3 months after 9/11 and he had 7 years prior where he did good work, but work that was no different than any other mayor in any other city.

I agree.
I remember his dictatorship he was running before 9/11. His career was definitely in a freefall. He cleaned up Times Square, but in the end was concentrating on stupid things like the crap exhibit.

a lot of people know Rudy for 9/11 but he did a lot more - he was not afraid to upset people to get things done
you have to remember when Rudy took over - the city was almost bankrupt beacuse of Denkins - he did alot to clean up the city and make it a much better place
the only draw back to rudy ids he does not have a lot of foreign relations experience whcih is where our country is going to need after Bush leaves - Bush has alienated a lot of allies and we need a president who can help mend those relations

I have to give him props for reducing crime and getting hookers off the street. But he honestly went to far with restricting permits and going after street vendors and artists.

I'm pretty much undecided. I don't see either as being horrible or great. I wouldn't be able to make a decision until I really looked into what their records are/what they've done in the past and what their platforms are for improving the country.

a strong minded woman doesnt change her mind on foreign policy so much you can make your head spin
a strong minded woman doesnt stick with a lying cheating husband for the sake of advancing her own political gains.
if she had dumped his sorry asss, moved on, and grew a set, then id have ALOT more respect for her
just to name a few things

On of the problems with Clinton is that she has kind of gone back and forth on gay marriage and the war and won't make a really clear committed pro gay marriage, anti war stand

a good man doesn't cheat on his wife, and then announce to the press that he is getting divorced before telling his wife he is leaving her.
