Scared- 24 wks and bleeding after intercourse

Sex has always been a little painful since i got pregnant but i am now 24 wks and just started to bleed after sex for the first time. It is red and only a little after I wipe but it is scaring the hell outta me. My doc called back and said that its normal as long as im not cramping and that i can go to the hospital if i wan. But why did it just start to happen now at 24 wks? Could it possibly be bc of a low laying placenta that was never caught or just occured??

that use to happen with my 1st pgncy. It is perfectly normal.

that happened to me. It's normal. As long as it's not bright red and continuing... you're fine.

I had placenta previa. Not sure if that had anything to do with it or not, but the doctor said it was normal.

Some women just develop a sensitive cervix during pregnancy and will bleed when anything goes in the vagina. Probably best to avoid doing the deed for awhile to ease your nerves.

I had the same thing in my first pregnancy!! No need to worry!!

Im going to the dr. tomorrow night so hopefully he'll do an exam and find nothing!
