Scheduled c-section ladies- Question for those working

How long before the c-section date are you planning on starting your maternity leave? My surgery is scheduled for 7/12 and my last day is this Wed 6/22. With my 1st.. I could have went to work until the day I delivered. With this one I'm getting a tremendous amount of BH contractions and this kid is so low I could barely stand anymore.

I am scheduled as of now for the 19th and decided to go out on the 12th, a week before. I am really uncomfortable, the baby is breech and its hard to sit at work. I did not want to use anymore time than that. Good luck.

I’m trying to figure that out now. I just got my c-section date today of July 19th. I really want as much time with the baby as possible, so I was considering making July 15th my last day. But then I thought it might be nice to have some time to myself and maybe I would want to stop sooner, like the 8th. If I go to the 15th I think I might ask to work from home for the last week or two so I don’t have to make the trek in and attempt to look decent, which is becoming more and more difficult each week.

I worked up until the day before so I could have the most time with DC. Did that with my twins too. I wasn't uncomforatble with them though. If I was I would have left earlier. Unfortunately, I'm bound by 3 months so I wanted the most time at home with baby.
