PP recovery question for c -section ladies

I am 1 month PP after a C-section. I had a great recovery, barely any pain, stopped pain killers after only 2 days. But now all of a sudden for the past week my body hurts.

My lower belly feels full and I get like twinges and pangs.

I have that lower back ache that many of us women get when we have AF

When I press on my tummy about 6 inches above the incision it is very sore still.

And the weirdest symptom is my legs aching horribly. If I get up after sitting for a while my legs feel like I am 90 years old. I have aches in my bones and muscles.

Can this be from lack of sleep, or sitting a lot more than I am used to? Or is it normal issues after a C or do you think there could be something wrong?

My hypochondria is starting to kick in thinking maybe they didnt put all my organs back in the right way or maybe I am healing improperly.

I am not in pain just a lil uncomfortable.

I also pretty much stopped bleeding, just have discolored CM now

Please tell me your experience and if you have any ideas why I may be feeling like this 1 month later.

TIA

It took me MONTHS to get back to feeling like myself, maybe six months. Honestly. Its a big operation, do not underestimate how big of an operation is, and you have a baby to look after!

My friend who is a GP has reminded me that the C section op is very very similar to a hysterectomy op, and when you have a hysto, you get 8 weeks off of work to recover and thats WITHOUT a baby to look after!

You will feel normal again, but give youself time!

Sounds exactly how I felt and still do everyonce in a while almost 9 months PP. I felt all the aches you described and exhaustion for months. Its a big surgery and takes time to recover. I only started feeling like mself around the time he was 7 months....but like I said soemtimes I still feel a little soreness...not to mention I still have some belly numbness.

Check with your OB but it sounds normal.
