School supplies?

What happens if you just send in similar products and not necessarily the brands they request?

Nothing happens. Some kids don’t even bring in supplies.

Ok, so this isn’t normal? My DD is going into kindergarten so I don’t know any better.

We’re also new to the area so I’m trying to be on my best behavior and not call the school asking wtf happens if I send in the wrong paper towels.

Don't stress. You would be surprised how many people don't even bring in supplies.
This year is a bit out of the norm, so whatever you buy it will be specifically for your child. In years past, supplies are usually communal in K.

Best of luck to you DD.

I really hope schools aren’t depending on students and teachers to supply sanitizing supplies, that would be totally unreasonable. Cuomo needs to make sure schools have access to those NYS hand sanitizer jugs, along with other supplies.

So I would just send in what I could find. Why bother stressing trying to find the brands they specify?
