We got $38. I honestly don't understand how it's legal to basically bribe people to approve a low school budget. Not trying to cause a debate, it just really rubs me the wrong way.

I don't think it has to do with property taxes? Mine was well over $300 but my taxes are well under 20k. And yes, this was for the 2nd one, not the child one.

It's based on how much your taxes went up. It has nothing to do with how much you pay each year.

It doesn't, it has to do with school taxes. The two are usually correlated though. High property, high school.
