Secondary infertility after c section
I'm wondering how common it is for this to happen in women I mean there has got to be some scarring after right!? The dr doesn't say that there's an issue I am going to push for the hsg since everything else came back normal hopefully my tubes aren't blocked from thr c section....

I have secondary infertility and also had a c-section, but I don't know that one has to do with the other. I had an HSG, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy for endometriosis (where they checked out my scar from the inside), and other various tests and procedures, and no doctor has ever said that my c-section was somehow related. But I suppose you never know!

Did you have scarring? Were your tubes clear? Also did you have an issue getting pg with dc#1? I've been reading up on this and any kind of pelvic surgery can play a part in adhesions  I have to stop googling!!

Nothing out of the ordinary scarring. Tubes totally clear. No problems with #1.
ETA: And yes, stop googling!!

I have secondary infertility and delivered naturally. I'm in the midst of my first IVF cycle, and I just said to my husband the other night....all it took to conceive #1 was a few glasses of wine and some fun!
It's just so frustrating to not know WHY it's not happening when everything worked fine before!

I had unexplained secondary IF after c section. I got pregnant very easily with DS. During an SHG my RE found a pocket of fluid over my c section scar that was narrowing the entrance to my cervix. He showed it to me on the screen. He didn't think it was the only reason I wasn't getting pregnant though, but we will never know because I got pregnant the month he removed it (w/ femara and IUI).
