Seperation anxiety back in full swing..
So DS was home with myself for 5 days and DH 2...
I know when I went back to work and he went back to school it was going to be a little rough, but I didn't think it would be like this.
He screamed Thursday at drop off- I kissed him and walked away, assuming he would stop w/in minutes- needless to say- when I called down to the classroom 20 min later, and could hear my baby still crying in the background it broke my heart.
After crying on and off for 2 hrs I made DH come pick him up. (Dh had off, but had a follow up Dr.'s apt- so he came as soon as he could)
Yesterday both of us were back to work- and it was horrible... Again, on and off crying the entire day.
I worked a 12 hr day yesterday, so when DH came home from work he picked up DS and went over to my parents (we were supposed to go their for dinner, but since I was working DH figured he'd let DS go there for dinner and he would go home and clean bathrooms to help me out..)
Well, my parents called me and said "one of you has to come get him, he is inconsolable."
Thats never, ever happened with my parents (or my IL's) He is usually so happy to be there, and I thought for sure since my dad was home, and RJ's new train table was there he would be so excited to go and play..
Now I'm off the weekend, and only working half day Monday and off again on Tuesday- so Lord knows what Wednesday is going to bring
This morning he broke my heart when he rolled over and said "No work for mama- stay home w/ baby"

Tell him "Gilly goes to school...Ryan goes to school" Oh wait that might have adverse effects

I am off this whole week and am not looking forward to going back either. Damien keeps asking do we stay home tomorrow or do we go to school. Then the one day off is killer.

Ant is like this now that I am home...all day long "mommy where are you?" even if I am in the next room.
We hold hands about 5o% of the time in the house!
