September Mommies-to-be Thread
I noticed that so many of us are scared and it is early for many of us but I thought I would start a thread to get to know each other and support each other in these early weeks. I almost feel like we are hijacking the pg board
So I am about 5w1d and my first doctor's appt is Monday 1/7. I just have on and off AF like cramping and I am taking 800 mcg of Folic Acid a day.
I am scared to death that I am going to have a m/c. I had a partial molar pregnancy in November 2006 and it has ruined the euphoric innocence of pregnancy for me but I am trying to stay positive and live in the present. I was thinking of going and buying another HPT today to make sure it's still positive. But I guess no spotting or bleeding is a good sign.
Next.........
Sticky dust for all

So what are they doing Friday. Just blood work I assume. You should see if they will do a follow up draw early next weekt o make sure your numbers are increasing as they are supposed to. It might bring you rpeace of mind while you wait for Feb 1st. Everything will be fine. How are you feeling???

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
thats a good idea. im feeling tired... but i dont know if thats just me taking it easy. Finding it hard to eat and take the vitamins and drink a lot of water. I hope i didnt mess anything up. They said tommorow they are going to do paperwork take some blood and do an exam. They dont want to do the ultrasound tommorow becuase if they dont hear anything or see anything they dont want me to get worked up or scared. Which is understandable.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
Welcome Bella and 1 more! Congratulations and best wishes!
How is everyone feeling? I feel pretty good actually. The cramping has subsided and just a little more tired than usual. Trying to remain upbeat and optomistic. The more I logically deduce the more I feel I have nothing to worry about.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
Hi my fellow September mommies to be....Well according to my online due date calculate it has me at August 30
I am a bit nervous only b/c I havent been experiencing any symptoms besides my ginormous boobs!!!
I had cramps a few days ago but that seems to have gone away...
I took a 125th HPT last night and the line appeared as soon as the pee hit the stick and it was really dark so thats whats keeping me sane...I go Tuesday for my first doc appt but only for bloodwork I think.....
Looking forward to experiencing my pregnancy together with you ladies!!!

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
Im also a cautious September mommy to be. We finally conceived after our try with IVF. Have been for two blood tests so far, first one beta was 180, second 627. I am 5 weeks exactly today. I go for one more blood test on Monday and then my first sono is on the 22nd. Im cautiously excited and more than anything else, I'm exhausted.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
i am a september mommy-to-be i am also very nervous, this is my first time being PG, and i don't have many symptoms so i still POAS every morning (thank goodness for dollar tree tests!). i have slightly sore boobs, and i am exhausted all the time, and quite gassy but other than that i feel totally normal!
my first appointment is on the 14th and i can't wait! DH and i already told our parents, and we are telling our sisters and grandparents next week.
this is still kind of surreal

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
I found out that I was PG the day before Christmas Eve. My EDD I calcuated is Aug. 31st. I had AF like cramping the first week I found out. My boobs feel like a ton of bricks (they were big enough already,I don't know how to deal with these things). I felt sick the past 2 days, but I started feeling better today. I have been really tired! My first OB appt. was supposed to be the 16th, but changed it to the 21st. Congrats to you all! Glad we can all compare notes!

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
I am having similar symptoms that I had w. DS, some nausea and cramping/muscle soreness in my belly. Whats different is that I have more bloating, by the end of the day I cannot get my pants closed lol, but I think that is gas. My appetite is not great, I am already craving fruits and veggies. -and red meat, which I v. rarely eat. With DS I was addicted to cheesburgers, which may explain the weight gain I had lol.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
I can "cautiously" enter this thread.
According to online caluclators, I am 4 weeks and 3 days. I found out on 1/1/08. My "online" due date is 9/10/08 and my first doc's appt is January 24th.
I am experiencing bloating and cramping and some tiredness. Oh and very tender boobs!!! But nothing so extreme that I am in bad discomfort. I hope it stays this way but I know there is a long journey ahead.
Like others have mentioned, it is a nerve wracking and senstive time. I have been worried with each passing day but really excited as well.
By the way, I cannot believe I actually posted on a pregnancy thread.
Many prayers and love to all of us and all our preggos!!!!!!!!!

It is totally emotional AND your hormonal! Both times before I found out I was preggo I thought I was having severe PMS. It's normal. This is exciting, scary, and many other things. Try to relax and enjoy it! What you are feeling is completely normal!
