It is totally emotional AND your hormonal! Both times before I found out I was preggo I thought I was having severe PMS. It's normal. This is exciting, scary, and many other things. Try to relax and enjoy it! What you are feeling is completely normal! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

Hi everyone :)
I guess I would be a Sept mommy as well, hopefully! I had a dr. appt for blood work on Thurs and my hcg only came back at a 40. I am going back on mon. for another test and my doctor said it should be up to 200. It might be very very early. My LMP was Dec 3rd but it was only one day! Hopefully all will go well. I too am excited and nervous. DH and I were not going to start trying for real until May but I went off BCP Oct 31st. Obviously it worked a lot quicker then we thought! DH is scared and excited too! Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 9 months :)

I am a September mommy to be also!! So excited and nervous at the same time. I have sore boobs/cramping (AF like cramps)/ soooooo tired. I slept for 12 hrs last night LOL. I have my first appt on 1/11/08 to get my vitamins. Then on the 23rd I go back to get the actual exam by the Dr. I am confident in us all having a very happy and healthy 8 months ahead of us. My expected due date according to the online calculators in Sep 16th. Chat Icon

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

Good luck at your follow up!

I went today for first bloodwork and have an ultrasound appt. for 16th at 3pm. They didn't want to do the u/s today because they thought it would be too early to see anything.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

I am officially on cloud 9! We saw the sac and all looks good! He said my numbers could only be produced by a healthy and normal pregnancy and I go back on the 23rd for another u/s and to get my EDD. Thank you so much everyone. The support was much needed and the prayers worked!

So, hows everyone else doin tonight? Chat Icon

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

Well I’m a Sept due date (for now). So far only having dizzy spells here and then. I am having a little trouble getting to sleep, but nothing too bad (prolly just nerves). In the morning when I normally snooze, I’ve been having trouble getting back to sleep.

I eat fine. No nausea yet (keeping fingers crossed) No sore boobs, No trouble with my PrimaCare (I take it on a full tummy with lots of water). I’m actually more energetic.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread

Well since I came out I can join you ladies (formerly surrealnumber2).

I am getting dizzy spells a lot. Also a lot of cramping. But it helps when I drink more water. And I am always very hungry and want nothing but junk food (cheesburgers, fattening foods). Things seem much different for this pregnancy then my last pregnancy. I dotn remember really wanting fattening foods in the beginning.

ETA: Also doctor confirmed the pregnancy and going for my first sono on Jan. 31st. I cant wait and DH is so excited as well. Hoping for a girl this time around. Chat Icon Chat Icon

Wow - there are a lot of us!

I am due (per the online calculator) 9/23/08!

I am a little concerned though because my Dr doesn't want to see me until Feb 8th. I got my BFP last week.

Does that seem like a long time away for a 1st appointment?
