Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
29 weeks and feeling pretty good! I am really starting to feel the pregnancy weight now and I am always sore down low, but its normal. I wound up passing my 3 hr gloucose test! I went for my 3/4d sono yesterday and I am completely over my boy. The nursary progress is moving at a snails pace , but I basically have everything I need for now that I had my shower. I am starting to get really anxious now!!!

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
I am 32 weeks and the weight is really starting to catch up to me. I walk into everything and definately feeling pressure down low. It takes me longer to walk to places as I waddle and dont move as graceful as I once did. DH has to tie my sneakers for me. Last night was the lowest that I have ever felt. I was in tears because I couldnt roll over and DH was sleeping. I felt like a turtle that was on her back and coudln't flip over. I used to see on TV those pregnant women that would sit down and then need help getting up and think oh it's such an exageration (sp)...IT'S NOT!!! I need help getting up from the couch, the bed, the car, and just about anyplace I get all snug in.
The nursery is coming along slowly. DH is going to do a lot this upcoming weekend. He has 4 days off and plans on painting and setting things up for me.
8 more weeks to go

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
I am 31 weeks 5 days today and like the previous posts, I, too, have been feeling the weight....I cant do as much as before and I am so frustrated!!!
I need help getting up off the bed, couch, car everywhere...I feel huge!!!
Baby's movements have changed now b/c she's getting bigger...I see body parts now!!! Its amazing...
Nursery pretty much done....except for a few decorative items and we have EVERYTHING we need and then some as far as clothes, toys, gear, etc...
I washed and ironed all her clothes, bibs, blankets....
It does pay to be home...I def. had more time to finish everything...

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
I love hearing the updates and glad to see we are all doing pretty good!!!!!
I am having more moments of discomfort then I would like but I atill cannot complain about pregnancy. I really love it actually! I feel huge and I don't care. I have some pains in the va-jay-jay and even a varicose vein on my bikini line. I have a little more than 7 weeks to go but hopefully I go early. I am getting anxious. She is not moving quite as much now, more rolls than kicks and I feel bad for her like she is all squished. The nursery is not even close to being done, my shower is not for another 2 weeks, and as exhausted as I am now I cannot imagine how I am going to get everything together before arrives but it doesn't really matter as much as I thought it would. I just want to meet her.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
Hi Ladies!
I am 32 weeks today ! I am feeling pretty good. I have gained a total of 13 pounds so far and not gained anything in the past month! I was away this weekend, so I am kinda beat right now. I certainly could not do as much walking as I would have liked to. My sciatica and feet are really killing me. The nursery is getting there. Piece by piece, day by day things are moving along. I just want there to be walls that I can paint so we can start to look at furniture. In only have 47 days to go

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
ok ladies, it's time to update!!!
How far along are you?:
35 weeks 2 days today!
How are you feeling?:
fairly good. my back is achey, nothing that a good massage won't help, and i can't stand or walk for very long b/c my feet and va-jay-jay get so sore. plus i am tired ALL the time now, since i can't sleep for sh!t at night... i could take a day-long nap every day!!
Are you on maternity leave or working until you go into labor?:
working till the bitter, bitter end... i just hope my water doesn't break at work!!
Is time speeding up or slowing down for you?:
it's really slowing down now. i am getting so impatient to meet him!!!
Do you have names picked out?:
we have a first name, we are still working on the middle name, but we've narrowed it down (i think!)
How is the nursery coming along?:
it's just about done, we need valances and a replacement part before we put the crib together... but the baby will be with us for the first month or so anyway so i am not worried.
Have you had a shower?:
yup! i had a family/friends shower and a work shower, and i have just about everything i need for
Anything else?:
i have my first internal next tuesday, i'm excited about that. but in the meantime i am SO bored at work! someone needs to come here and entertain me

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
How far along are you?:
34 weeks 4 days
How are you feeling?:
Not horrible, though I am slower getting around and feeling pretty huge with an aggravated back. All in all, the emotional pain of this pregnancy has far outweighed anything physical.
Are you on maternity leave or working until you go into labor?:
I am have'nt worked in months though I am in Education and had a pretty flexible schedule anyways.
Is time speeding up or slowing down for you?:
Starting to speed up, though this feels like a long pregnancy.
Do you have names picked out?:
Yes, my baby will be Liam Jude.
How is the nursery coming along?:
I just ordered bedding a few days ago. We are hoping to order the furniture tonight or this weekend. We are behind on everything but have had so much on our minds it is hard to focus.
.
Have you had a shower?:
Yes, it was very nice!!!!
Anything else?: My induction date is set for Sept 8th. I am very nervous about labor and delivery and freaking out about what is going to happen. I will not get much bonding time with the baby after he is born as he will be whisked into NICU (heart defect). This is killing me and making me severely depressed. Sometimes I do not know how I am going to live through this, I love my boy so much. I also don't feel as if I "belong" anywhere as nobody can really relate to my situation whether it be friends, family, or any pregnancy chat boards.... I have become a bit of an isolate.
I have not had the typical pregnancy at all and am very bitter about what has happened to my family. My boy is totally worth it though, every second of it. All I need is for him to be healthy and happy in the end, this is my wish.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
How far along are you?: 35 weeks 4 days (3 weeks to go!)
How are you feeling?: Pretty good! I am still maintaining my low-fat diet to keep away my gall bladder attacks. It's been over 2 weeks since I was in the hospital last, so everyday is a success. I am definitely more tired though! And now is the time I need my energy to get things together!
Are you on maternity leave or working until you go into labor?: I plan on working up until the day of my scheduled C/S. I work for my FIL, so he would let me do anything I want. I choose to work that long to keep me busy :)
Is time speeding up or slowing down for you?: Starting to speed up, b/c I am on a time limit to get this nursery done!
Do you have names picked out?: Yes, will be Raymond John the IV
How is the nursery coming along?: Spackle will be done by tomorrow. Hopefully paint Sat/Sun and carpet installed next week. We have time, but we don't!
Have you had a shower?: Nope, not this time around
Anything else?: I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone! I can't wait to meet him and see what (who) he will look like

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
How far along are you?:
35 weeks 2 days today!
How are you feeling?:
I would say I’m ok, but I’m not. I’m having ridiculously painful explosions from my hip and I don’t know why. I can barely walk without stopping since the pain makes it impossible to put weight on that leg.
Are you on maternity leave or working until you go into labor?:
Working as long as I can.
Is time speeding up or slowing down for you?:
Still slow. I want my Dad here!
Do you have names picked out?:
Yep, I have two names picked out!
How is the nursery coming along?:
I still need curtains and a changing pad. Otherwise, I’m alright
Have you had a shower?:
Had one at the office.
Anything else?:
She’s breech and has too much fluid. Looks like I may have a C/S

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
How far along are you?: 32 weeks 4 days
How are you feeling?: eh, ok. In the last week, I've become much more fatigued. I discovered I need to drink 1L more a day of water (that's 5 a day!) in order to avoid granny ankle and aches and pains. I'm also finding I need to eat constantly to avoid feeling woozy. Fun times!
on a more positive note, my GD is perfectly managed. Thank GOD.
Are you on maternity leave or working until you go into labor?: I work at SBU, and am delivering at SB hospital, so there's no problem working until the very end
Is time speeding up or slowing down for you?: Things are speeding up, but I'm slowing down!
Do you have names picked out?: Yes, will be Eryk Heinrich... since we only got a brief glimpse of the goods, if it's a girl, it will be Anna.
How is the nursery coming along?: Well, my work and home showers are all when I'm 34-35 weeks, so there's a lot that's still MIA, including the mattress The furniture is assembled and in place, the mobile is up, and all the clothes still have tags but are folded in their proper place. Feeding / diapering supplies are being delivered today
Have you had a shower?: Still in a couple weeks Super duper late, I know! (first we went away for 3 weeks, then MIL and FIL went away for 3 weeks... hence the late date!)
Anything else?: I can't wait to meet Scone! It's super stressful trying to get everything done at work and at home in preparation for the little loaf's arrival.....

How are you feeling?: Pretty good! I have to say except for the occasional soreness down there I really can't complain....
Are you on maternity leave or working until you go into labor?: Already on maternity leave and I'm not going back!! Yippeeeee!
Is time speeding up or slowing down for you?: Starting to slow down..I think because I am so anxious to meet her!!
Do you have names picked out?: Yes, Eva. (pronouned ehva like evolution)
How is the nursery coming along?: Prettu much done all I need are roman shades but having a hard time deciding which colors to use...nursery is orange and yellow with dark wood furniture...
Have you had a shower?: Yup...a big one and got EVERYTHING plus over $1,500 in BRU gift cards...so I wont have to worry about diapers for a while
Anything else?: I am really excited....oh, and it's fun going back to the beginning of this thread and reading all our posts from the beginning...

How far along are you?: 34 weeks 6 days
How are you feeling?: I am not feeling so great. Baby is head down and I have a lot of pressure down low. Just getting bigger and increasingly uncomfortable.
Are you on maternity leave or working until you go into labor?: I am no longer working and will be taking off for a few years after baby is born.
Is time speeding up or slowing down for you?: I guess the weeks go by pretty fast but overall it feels like I still have forever to go.
Do you have names picked out?: Yes- Lexie Lynn

Have you had a shower?: Yes, I got so much and we are so grateful. Her closet is full of clothes!

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
36 weeks and ready to goooooooooo.
I am so tired. Some days my feet look like sausages. My legs hurt if I walk 10 feet.
Monday I will be having a little talk with HR to determine my last day for leave. My last day will most likely be Aug 29
I feel like a house. Some of my clothes are starting to get snug and I dont want to go get anything new.
My hospital bag is almost packed. I just need to add some small things.
Baby's room complete. We were having a hard time finding a letter to his name, then my aunt went out and got half the name, so my parents bought the rest of his name except one letter wasn't in and FINALLY I got the letter today. His name is complete. We can hang all the letters to his name
One month to go and I am so ready to meet this little meatball

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
How far along are you? 33 weeks, 1 day
How are you feeling? Generally pretty good. Having trouble sleeping and walking has become a challenge and my hips are very sore.
Are you on maternity leave or working until you go into labor? I'm stopping work two weeks before my due date since I have a ton of vacation that I'll lose if I don't use it before the end of the year.
Is time speeding up or slowing down for you? It depends on the week and what I have going on. Last week dragged on, but this week went pretty fast. I'm sure it's going to slow down now that I'm getting more excited to finally meet her.
Do you have names picked out? Yep, we are naming her Julia.
How is the nursery coming along? The furniture got delivered this week, so it's pretty much all set, but for a few finishing touches. We're still waiting for her wall letters to be delivered, so that's the only major thing left.
Have you had a shower? Nope, not having one.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
How far along are you? 33w1d
How are you feeling? For the most part I feel okay. I get tired now though by the afternoon and usually take a little nap so I can stay awake until bedtime. Sleeping at night is more uncomfortable and I have a lot of pelvic discomfort that comes and goes. All part of the 3rd trimester fun I guess.
Are you on maternity leave or working until you go into labor? I teach so I've been off since June and I'm not going back at all so I will home relaxing until the baby arrives.
Is time speeding up or slowing down for you? I guess it's going quickly, I only have 7 weeks to go but then sometimes it feels like it's not going fast enough. I just can't wait to meet the baby!!
Do you have names picked out? Yep. If it's a boy his name will be Hayden Alexander and if it's a girl her name will Emerson Avery.
How is the nursery coming along? All finished except for a few wall decorations that have to go up along with the curtains. Furniture and supplies are all in place. I'm good to go!!
Have you had a shower? Nope but I found out that it's this Sunday!! I can't wait!!!
Anything else? I am just SO excited to meet this little baby. I've enjoyed being pregnant and I think I'll miss it to some degree but I can't wait to have the baby in my arms. Some days I get a little nervous too about how everything is going to change because we don't really know what to expect but I have an AWESOME DH so I know everything will be fine. He couldn't be more excited as well!! My only hurdle is getting through labor and delivery.......that makes me nervous!!!!

How are you feeling? Kinda miserable. I am done!!
Are you on maternity leave or working until you go into labor? I teach summer school and it is over Thursday thank goodness!!!! If I don't have the baby by sept. 2nd i am going back for one day to get my days and tenure!
Is time speeding up or slowing down for you? Depends on the day
Do you have names picked out? First name is Jack. We can't come up with a middle name.
How is the nursery coming along? Well DH fixed a hole in the wall. I started cleaning it out. But it really needs to be done more!
Have you had a shower? No, Im not having one.
Anything else? I can't wait for this to be over. Nervous about Labor though!!!!

How far along are you? 35 weeks
How are you feeling? OK, most of the time - I'm having cramps but Dr. tells me its just the babys head pushing on my c-section scar
Are you on maternity leave or working until you go into labor? I will work up until my c-section date, well really a hald day before
Is time speeding up or slowing down for you? It's going fast, fell like I still have a lot of things to do and buy
Do you have names picked out? yes
How is the nursery coming along? looks good but I need to stop putting things that don't belong in that room.
Have you had a shower? No, Im not having one (I think I would have already had it)
Anything else? I need to get a gift from the baby to my son and vice versa but I don't know what to get

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
How far along are you?: 36 weeks 4 days
How are you feeling?: Generally, I really can't complain! My hands feel like I have arthritis, especially in the morning, but it usually goes away by mid-morning/early afternoon. Some pressure has been building down low over the last few days but I know baby is just heading down and preparing for his arrival! I am pretty tired at night, but nothing out of control. And, the heat really isn't bothering me. I have been very lucky to have a fairly uneventful pregnancy.
Are you on maternity leave or working until you go into labor?: I will work until the day he comes. There is even a plan in case I go into labor while I'm at work.
Is time speeding up or slowing down for you?: Eh, working has really helped pass the time. I think I'd say slow down if I were sitting around all day waiting, but I ma still really active at work, so time is going by fairly normally.
Do you have names picked out?: Yes- but it's a secret
How is the nursery coming along?: Nursery is all done!!! It came out beautiful!!! Now, we just need a baby!!!
Have you had a shower?: Yes, my mother and 2 best friends threw me a beautiful shower and we got SO much stuff for the baby including a TON of clothes! Then, I got another shower at work. Baby G is really coming into the world surrounded by love!
Anything else?: I'm definately getting a bit anxious about WHERE I will go into labor. I would prefer for it to happen at home, but I am at work for long hours so I have a feeling it might happen at work. Also, sleeping is starting to get uncomfortable. I mean, I fall asleep with no problem. But, I can't stay asleep cause I get uncomfortable or my back starts to hurt and I need to flip over. Not to mention my dog knows something is up, so he sleeps ON me all night! He is like a giant hot box laying on top of me!

How far along are you?: 33 weeks 2 days
How are you feeling?: Tired..still not sleeping that great and I'm super uncomfortable.
Are you on maternity leave or working until you go into labor?: working until I go into labor...I end my summer vacation next week. so hopefully will only be working a few weeks.
Is time speeding up or slowing down for you?: its been going pretty fast...I'm sure once I return to work it will feel faster.
Do you have names picked out?: Yes
How is the nursery coming along?: Its all done...just waiting for someone to buy the bedding
Have you had a shower?: No...I'm only having a shower by mail since I'm OOS...and my lovely family is taking forever to send things.
Anything else?: Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but its still too far! I'm ready to be done and be holding my little girl! and I'm getting really anxious about the birth and post birth stuff.

Almost their ladies.
How are we feeling??
I am so done with pregnancy. Done done done. My hands hurt, my feet hurt, I have pressure you know where that feels like I got kicked by a race horse or the kid is trying to sneak out thinking I wouldnt notice
Everyone at work has been telling me I look like I really dropped. I can breath a little better so maybe I did drop.
I am wondering if I can go to the sheriffs department and start the process for an eviction notice
Is it September yet

I am SO with you!! I completely and utterly done!!! My feet and ankles look like Shrek's, the baby is so low in my pelvis right now that it's hard to walk without discomfort not to mention, I pee every single second of my life. I can't get a decent nights sleep since my hips fall asleep, my lower back hurts, etc. etc. I'm VERY ready!!!!! I'm really, really hoping this little butterball makes an early arrival because I cannot fathom another 5 weeks at this point!!!! Can't wait for September!!!
