Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
i am doing well... moves around like crazy now, and some days i think he is actually trying to escape! once DH found out we were having a boy, he registered for anything yankee-related he could get his hands on at BRU. it was very cute actually
he has been measuring "ahead" at nearly every appointment so far - not enough for the dr to change my due date but enough that i think there is a chance i won't go 40 weeks. but that's just my mommy instinct
i have my second level II appointment scheduled for 5/8 to get some more heart measurements, but so far everything is looking good. i am still amazed at this pregnancy... i am not a spiritual person by any means, but i feel blessed every single day.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
I'm 19 weeks as of tomorrow... I feel great. but I am officially scared..... I hate to say it, but it's becuase of all of the horrible news posted on this board this week
This tuesday is our level II. We're really excited to find out what Crouton is... but I'm also scared they'll find something wrong . Why am I such a nervous mom-to-be?
Overall I feel very good. I've had some minor cramping over the last couple weeks, I think a few were round ligament pains, and the majority was due to gas I've been sleeping better than usual. I still don't feel anything truly distinctive of a baby kick (I attribute everything to gas ) I can't wait to feel a definite kick.....

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
I am 21 weeks today and have also been feeling the baby a lot lately. It is the absolute best feeling! We are still waiting on the results from the Level 2, we had to go back a 2nd time so they could get the heart since the baby wasn't cooperating. Overall I am feeling really good and don't feel that big. We still have to paint the nursery and put down floors, and go to bru and register. Can't wait for only 19 weeks to go!!

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
I am 19 weeks and feel pretty good, still some morning sickness though. I also feel nervous because of all the bad news on here lately, I suddenly feel like I"m not in the clear. I feel the baby moving and kicking away like a crazy person! DH actually felt the baby kick yesterday for the first time! my level II is next week.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
I am 22 weeks and feeling pretty good. My back hurts every once in a while. I have my next appt May 13 and they are going to measure my belly
I feel thumping around. It's neat becaue it just comes out of nowhere. I mostly feel it at night or after I eat a big meal. The other night he was thumping all over the place, I told him hey no practicing your baby UFC moves in there. And he calmed down a little
A friend of mine just had her baby boy the other day and it's really getting me excited that this little nut will be here in a few short months

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
22w2d, feeling her all the time and lovig it. I fele great, I love being pregnant. DH finally felt her kick this morning but this weekend I am too saddened by what is going on on these boards and I just can't stop thinking of everyone. My heart aches for them and it was a true realization to cherish each kick, live in the moment, and recognize howlucky and blessed I am for everything to be going well.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
20 weeks and 2 days today. Still feeling great although I have been getting heartburn quite often. Had our level 2 on Friday and everything looks good although the pictures aren't as clear as they'd like so we have to go back in 2 weeks. The sono tech said she is 70% sure its a ! I have a dr apt this Friday and am going to BEG her to try to confirm... Tech also said baby is VERY active. I have been feeling more movement lately although DH hasn't felt anything yet. Hopefully soon!
to all who need it this week!!

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
So how is everone doing???? I am 25w1d today and feeling good. I think some exhaustion is coming back I hope it's just because I've been doing too much. Also, my back is really starting to hurt but other than that I am totally inlove with this baby and feeling her move. I think I am going to start reading to her this week. So what's the concensus on people knowing about their showers? I know about mine. July 27th I am so excited
How are the rest of us doing????

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
I'm 22 weeks tomorrow......
Crouton does flips everytime I consume a teaspoon of sugar It's so reassuring to feel him regularly and know he's ok in there...
I'm drinking TONS of liquids 4L a day or MORE It's ridiculous.
And the other momentous event? NO MORE CONSTIPATION yay!
other than that, the crib is assembled, the stroller is assembled, and we SWEAR we'll do the changing table area next weekend! (We keep procrastinating...)
3 week business/ babymoon trip to europe from late june to mid july... I hope I survive it!

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
Hi all!
I'm 22w 4 days and feeling great! Although I'm under the weather at the moment. But I'm finally feeling kick and DH finally felt her the other night. She is super active at night, and will usually give me a few kicks during the day if I eat or drink something yummy. Going for a dr's appt on Tuesday, not sure but I'm assuming we will schedule my glucose test.
Crib is assembled and the dresser just came in. room is painted...just starting to recieve some things off the registry (I'm not having a shower...being in NC and I can't travel past june ) Kinda bummed about it, but can't change anything. I'm looking forward to my last day of work June 10th, so I can enjoy my summer and being pregnant and get prepared and organized for our little one!

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
HI! I'm 24 weeks and a few days!! Feeling good, was moving like crazy last night.
I have done nothing in the nursery because DS is still in it... looks like we might be able to move him next weekend. Then I can get the nursery back together. I did get a wonderful changing table from free-cycle this weekend (putting it upstairs in the master bedroom)
I'm not having a shower that I know about (this is baby #2)
Feels like its been forever since I had a dr. appt. (last one was right after level II) don't have another appt. until Early June. I have no idea when my glucose test will be.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
I am a little over 22 weeks and I am feeling pretty good. I've been having some pelvic pain from my bones softening and shifting but other than that I don't have much to complain about. We had our Level II and everything is great with the baby so that was a relief. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE feeling the baby moving around. It's the coolest feeling. I can't wait for my DH to feel the kicks from the outside.
Some things have been bought off my registry even though it's not for a while. I don't know when it is though, everyone is being hush hush about it. So annoying!! The baby room is almost done. We painted, installed the new window and door trim as well as the chair rail. My DH just has to put up the crown moulding and then all we have left to do is get new carpet installed. We're ordering the furniture in the next few weeks too so the room should be done and furnished by the end of July.
Overall, everything is going great and we're just so excited for this baby to make his/her arrival. At least we'll get a better look at him/her next week when we have our 3D/4D sono on Sat. That should be great!! Hope you're all feeling good too!!!

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
How far along?: 25 W 5 D
Feeling any different?: just bigger
Can you believe how fast time has flown?: It's really flying now. I cant believe Friday I'll be 26 weeks
Do you have names picked out?: Yes
Have you even STARTED the nursery?: a little. DH picked up the crib and changing table yesterday. The changing table was put together so we slid that into the guest room that will be the nursery. The crib is in it's box and DH will put that together in July. FIL and his wife are getting us the armoir but havent ordered that yet. The major stuff like moving out the guest furniture, painting and getting the nursery fully set up we'll be doing in July.
Registered for stuff yet?: Lots of stuff and some things have already flown off the registry
Anything else?: Very tired. I tie my sneakers and need a nap. I can't see anything below my boobs. If something falls on the floor it's staying there. I dropped my keys and actually waited for someone to walk by so I could ask them if they could pick it up for me.

Re: September Mommies-to-be Thread
How far along?: I'm 22.5 weeks
Feeling any different?: nope... except my constipation has been replaced with loose bowel mov'ts sorry, TMI, I know
Can you believe how fast time has flown?: seriously... I can't even keep track anymore!
Do you have names picked out?: sigh. we have a first name... no middle name yet.
if the techie is wrong about the gender (we only saw a brief flash of the parts), we're in trouble! no girl names at all.
Have you even STARTED the nursery?: The crib is assembled and in place. The changing table is still in the box.... why? well, first we need to make room for the changing table in our walk-in closet (we're in a 1 BR apt). The closet seemed like the best place since we could turn on the light, change Crouton, and let the other parent try to sleep through it.... It's only been half decluttered at this point
Registered for stuff yet?:
Registry has been completed over 2 mo ago! Just tweeking now
Anything else?: nope, that's about it!
