:sigh: why does it seem like nothing has changed? PG and traveling related

I am 8.5 months pregnant and understandably uncomfortable and tired. Plus I feel like I have a zillion things to do. Now, I may be alone in feeling this way, but I resent that some people in our circle expect us to drive long distances and are then shocked when we say no or shorten the plans (i.e. instead of driving to the person's house and then driving to go eat, we just stop by their home for a short visit).

DH and I have provided open invites to come to us to a lot of people and only a few have taken us up on it.

Am I alone in this? Does this bother anyone else?

Are these couples without children? DH and I are lucky in that many of our friends have babies and completely understand pregnancy.
