Simple things in life that make you happy...
for me its:
-a full tank of gas (cause i'm the laziest Mofo around when it comes to getting gas, i usually wait until its on "E"!)
-no crushed cookies in the pepperidge farm bag (very rarely happens)
-when i see a baby asleep in shopping cart sitting up (too cute!)
-watching the leaves fall
-laying in bed with DH in the dark and giggling about stupid things
so what are the simple things in life that make YOU happy and put a big ole smile on your face when you think about them?

The feeling I get when I've just put the food shopping away; I feel lucky to be able to fill the cabinets and refridge with food; it might sound silly....but I do!
Morning coffee
A Friday night home with DH and nothing to do but sip wine and watch "What Not To Wear."
When my dad calls me at work for no reason at all.
A snowy day and no work

When DH calls me every day to see how my morning drop off with the kids went.
When my friend leaves me voicemails. Doesn't speak at all, just plays a song from when we were in college.

When DH and I put on our pjs and watch tv at night, or when we watch tv and drink coffee together on the weekend mornings.
Finding the perfect gift for someone. I love the reaction on their face when they open it.
When I'm walking outside in autumn, and the leave are crunching under my feet, and i can smell wood burning. I LOVE the smell of wood burning. It's so cozy!

My girls, just as they are
My grandbabes. Yesterday, my grandson did something I had been waiting for. When my daughter took him out of the car, he walked up the driveway by himself with a big smile on his face and ran right for me. Nothing beats that.

- A happy client

Last night, I had a very long and difficult day (started at 7am and got home at 10:35pm).
DH presented me with a Dunkin Donut from him and my DS. I was almost in tears...just the other day I was saying, "Geeze, I'd love a strawberry jelly donut!".
The simple things can really bring a lot of joy.

My daughter. Just seeing her makes me happy. Playing with her gets me ecstatic. When she gives me a random hug or kiss, I couldn't be happier if I won the lottery.
