Since I'm waiting in the hospital...
And my stomach is growling...is there at all such a thing as good hospital food? I'm at Stony...anything good?

I don't know about SBUH.. but I do know that Cohen's Children's Hospital has an Au Bon Pain in the lobby and they have some nice soups and bread. Maybe Stony Brook has something similar? Otherwise I'd just grab a yogurt and a drink from the cafeteria.

SB - no, St. Charles, yes.
Worst part of SB is you don't want to leave b/c of they charge for parking.

Well I was pleasantly surprised! I think Mather and St. Charles have pretty poor cafeterias, but the one at Stony was just like the University, so I was familiar with the food. I had a fresh made pancake and a some fresh fruit with yogurt.
If there was an Au Bon Pain I'd never want to leave...and I had to hit the ATM to make sure I had cash for the exit toll

You'd also need money to buy a seat extender with all the extra weight that ish puts on you! I almost choked when I realized how many calories I had.. for lunch.

Oh gosh I know! Why did they have to ruin my indulgences with such cold, hard facts  Really puts the guilt in guilty pleasures!
