So ANGRY with store (sorry venting)

When my office was being transfered into a nursery, which began about 3 weeks ago, my book case collapsed. I had too many books and it was overweight, so when my DH was removing them, the weight distribution was off. Anyway, the next day, I went to Big Lots to see what they had because I had a one day 20% off coupon. I found the perfect bookcase in the exact same color as the nursery furniture (espresso). They didn't have it in stock (this was on a Sunday), but I made the purchase (so I can get the discount) and they said it would be in that Tuesday or that Thursday's shippment. I have called every day since and other stores (in West Babylon and Centerreach) and no one has it yet.

I plan on calling tomorrow again....I don't care if I am being annoying, my apartment looks like Barnes and Nobles....
Should I ask to speak to a manager?

I would ask to speak to the manager, especially since they told you that Tuesday or Thursday's shipment and that was 3 weeks ago. That is a little long. The manager might be able to track it down for you.
