So annoyed.. DH's insurance doesn't cover infertility
We had our consulation tonight with RS & they told me that DH's insurance (which is a union insurance that is usually great) only covers the first consult. They don't even cover bloodwork
I start my new job in 1 week so hopefully that insurance will cover the RS. If not, then I'll have to try & find a new obgyn to help me somehow.

I am so sorry that you have to be confronted with this. We had a similar situation but forunately enough DH's insurance covered all "diagnosis" & anything like IUI or IVF was self pay. It is tough

ugh, these treatments are so expensive & it makes me sick. I mean, we are saving $ so we can provide well for the baby. I never thought that we'd have to shell out thousands to just get preg.

My insurance doesn't cover IVF and we were kind of pushed to go that route because IUI was too dangerous with injectibles, which is what I had to use.
Of course I am covered for unlimited IUI.

My DH also has a union insurance and we just found out a few weeks ago the same thing, they only thing is - we weren't even covered for me 'talking' to the doctor about infertility.
It was a huge hit to us 
Hopefully you can get coverage from your new job

That stinks!
We are covered for all diagnostic - but our treatment coverage is being stopped at the end of the year (way to go economy!)
