So DH did a little poll of his own...
on "push presents"
Not that I'm asking for one, I guess he was just curious...
So, who got one??

Did not get one... did not expect one or want one. I am of the school of thought that our DS was present enough! 
ETA: I had never even heard of a "push present" until I started coming on LIF.

Nope- I didnt get one...
My husband did bring me flowers, and bought me some cute little things for the house. He made sure I always had lots of snacks and brought me up yummy dinners every night I was there!!!

Nope.
DS was in the NICU and I think our heads were spinning a little bit. He brought me up dinner at night and I I asked him to get me a magazine or 2 since DS wasn't in the room with me and I was trying to keep my mind busy during the day. He literally got me about a dozen magazines!
When DH went back to work he sent me flowers from DS with a card that said "Thank you for taking such good care of me Mommy. I love you!" He said he realized he never got anything when I was in the hospital!

Sort of...when each of my DDs was born, DH gave me a necklace (for ex. DD#2 was a Celtic cross--I wear this almost every day) that I will pass down to them at their Confirmations.

Though I didn't push I got one. It was a locket to put Dh and DD's pictures it. I see nothing wrong if you Dh wants to get you a gift. I didn't ask for it but I woudn't give it back.

Yup. a beautiful LLadro figurine of a mother, father and son. It's on my dresser and I look at it every day. It was really more a celebration of our family.

I see nothing wrong with a "push present" for others, to each their own.

I said 'other'
DH asked and I told him no. Personally I find it a silly reason to get a present - but we're not big present givers on other holiday's either.
For mothers day, he made sure to get me a piece of jewelery that I had my eye on. I had asked for sneakers but he wanted my 1st mothers day to be very special so I got sneakers and a ring.

I had never even heard of a push present until this site...
I didn't get one, definately didn't expect one in any way.
I was so caught up in the birth of Emily, I didn't even think of something like that.
Dh also brought me snacks up to the hospital and was so supportive during the whole time....she was in the NICU and stuff and really all I wanted was him and her.

I didn't know about push presents until I read about it here.
I got roses from my dh and my mother bought me diamond earrings.
This time, after my son is born I want the necklace that has my 2 son's names and dob.

Other than the baby ...no.
He did convince my favorite restaurant that doens't do take out, to let him take out fo rmy first night home. That meant a lot.l For me, it's not about the present but the effort & the thought.

Nope. Sure I would have loved something, but DH's achilles heel is gifts. He's not really that great in that department, but he does so much else. Last night he cleaned and cooked for example!! He did write me a very, very sweet card, like he does for all holidays. I keep all of them.

I also never heard of a push present until coming on here. But to answer the question NOPE, all I asked for is when I came home from the hospital to be prepared to order out the 1st 2-3 nights just so I can get situated.
