TMI Question: Bikini Waxing
Ok, so here's the deal...I've never done it before and I'm scheduled to go next week.
How painful is it?????
Did anyone get some bad reaction to it??? Be honest please.

Re: TMI Question: Bikini Waxing
I do it all the time. I have to say that I anticipate it hurting more than it actually does. It's quick and over before you know it. And once you do it once, you will be hooked!
ETA: I go to a professional spa to get it done. I do not go to the nail place where I get my nails. A lot of people do, but I have done both and when I go to a spa (I go to The Emerald Door in huntington) I like it sooo much better - less pain, better job, etc.

I am going to spa! I'm not trusting "it" to just anybody!

Re: TMI Question: Bikini Waxing
It hurts. The only positive thing about it is that once it's over there is no more pain. I like my girl bc she does it so fast, I really don't have time to freak.

Re: TMI Question: Bikini Waxing
I do a brazilian every 4 weeks and wouldn't have it any other way! It actually becomes less painful each time you do it.
Just be sure to take some ibuprofen 30-45 minutes prior to your appointment.
I personally don't think it's that bad. Having my legs waxed hurt a heck of a lot more!

I'd stick with an anit-inflammatory.

Yes. Be sure to take it 30-45 min prior.
The problem is people work themselves up about the "pain". It's really not that bad.

It's a 2 on my pain scale - not too bad at all. I find certain parts of the legs much worse! You'll be fine!!

Re: TMI Question: Bikini Waxing
It literally is the worst hurt but it is only 1 second of pain then it is gone. I ranked it a 2 overall since the pain is just for a second.

2 on my scale. The "undercarriage" hurts the most.
Will definitely need to try advil beforehand.

I agree about the pain...I do not think I would do it again
I did it once for my honeymoon.
