So sad and frustrated
Gyn called me back with my results. He said I didnt respond well to the clomid. My fsh on day 3 was 6.4 and estradiol was 30.9 and on day 10 after the clomid my fsh was 7.3 and estradiol was 109.1. I dont know anything about those numbers. They said the RE would probably do injectables. I dont even know what my insurance covers. im just so tired of all this. im in tears at work.

Re: So sad and frustrated
I'm sorry! I know how frustrating this could be. I didn't respond to Clomid the first time either and the second time, I had a bad reaction to it. My RE started me on Injectables this cycle and it really was not bad at all. It was a slow process bc they didn't want me to hyperstim, but it ultimately worked! I know some ladies on here took Femara and responded to it much better than Clomid. Maybe you can ask your doctor about that before going straight to Injectables. HTH!!!

same here. clomid didnt work at all for me. i was soooo upset. injectables did work though to get me to O and its really not a big deal at all. do you have PCOS? a lot of PCOSers dont respond to clomid. do you know why you are having O issues?

PCOS is chronic cysts right? I wasnt diagnosed with it but I swear I have it because I had cysts last summer and I have so much pain like I still have them. They told me it just looks like my ovaries are prematurely aging. I just feel like this is such a long road ahead of me. Even if injectables work, I still might have an issue getting pregnant

Re: So sad and frustrated
Sorry!
I think you should make an appt with an RE. I have no idea what those numbers suggest in terms of clomid, but in terms of the aging comment, your FSH is within the normal range. Usually elevated FSH suggests low ovarian reserve, which happens with age, so I don't know if I'd accept you dr's diagnosis that your ovaries are aging. Definitely seek out a specialist!

Re: So sad and frustrated
As hard as it is to even think, and after just having found out I had a chemical, you have to stay positive. The stress is bad for you. I know a few girls who have used the injectables and have been successful. Stay strong, put your head up and look towards the next thing. If injectables is next, then injectables it is. No question about it, this process is hard and heartbreaking. Power through the tough times and concentrate on what you need to do to make your baby dreams come true. Vent as much as you need, cry when you need to, but at the end of the day.... you need to go to bed knowing you are doing what you can and it will happen when it is meant to happen. Good luck to you.
