So stressed. Had some bright red spotting today.
Ugh. So, I have had 2 prior miscarriages. Both ended when I was 5 weeks. I'm 5w5d today- and I had some bright red spotting today in the morning, then it stopped. Then I had some in the afternoon, so I called the doctor. They told me to come in right away. The dr did an exam and so NO bleeding- and did a sono. I had a sono a week ago due to some spotting, and saw only a sac. Today's sono showed a sac, a fetal pole and a yolk sac- all good signs. The Dr didn't seem that concerned and says that 30% of all pregnancies have bleeding. They took blood from me, and I'll have the results tomorrow morning. I was feeling positive after the dr's appointment, but now I'm having some more bright red spotting. This is so stressful!

It really is stressful especially when you've had MC's before, I know. The good thing is that everything seems to be progressing normally. Hopefully your blood work comes back fine. It def. is normal to bleed during pregnancy. Happened to me twice in the first trimester. Keep us posted.

Try not to stress, so many things can cause spotting and hopefully it's nothing to worry about. The sono sounds very promising! Hang in there.

That would make me very nervous too... At least you had a sono and saw growth. Hope everything is fine

It's normal to stress especially in your case. I spotted brown a few times and freaked out. As long as the baby looks ok and still has a heartbeat u should be fine

Easier said then done but listen to your doctor and try not to stress. Although my spotting was brown I can understand everything that you are feeling. I am now 38 weeks so don't lose hope. I hope everything turns out ok for you.

as long as you saw progression from your first sono and the blood wasn't near the sac then hopefully everything should be OK!
