So what first world problems are we having lately?
A lighter post....
I went to an independent coffee shop that I have been dying to go to and my coconut latte was too sweet. Like, cloying. When I got home, I even took out my stovetop espresso maker and made espresso to try to cut the sweetness and it didn't work. Sad.
Oh, and I'm out of my favorite Essie nail polish.
Who else?

I can’t decide how to cook my veal tenderloin.
Should I sous vide it? What sauce should I serve with it? Should I do broccoli or broccolini with it?
Choices, choices.

Ugh I hate that!!! And I've gone home with the coffee that I bought that wasn't right, made my own to try to save it and it never works out!

I forgot to buy ice cream and I am too lazy to go out on Easter and buy some.
I'll drown my sorrows in Easter bread, lasagna and ham I guess. lol

At the moment, I have an insane amount of Easter candy I need to sort through. I have 3 kids. They each got 11 baskets. 33 Chocolate rabbits. What am I supposed to do with that?!?!

lol
Get eating!!! LOL
Use some of the chocolate for baking. You can add M&M's, Mini Eggs, Reese's, broken up chocolate bunnies, etc to cookies, muffins, cakes. BTW.........crushed up Cadbury Mini Eggs in vanilla ice cream is TO DIE FOR!

OMG! That's insane! I would tell my family that they should just give one basket for all three to share. This way they only get 11 total, not 11 each!

I'm getting DS a new laptop for his b-day. "Unfortunately", I know a lot about computers, so it's taking me forever to find the "perfect" setup.
If I didn't know so much, I could just go to Amazon and pick one with a lot of positive reviews and be all set.

* i'm tired of wearing the compression garment from my skin removal surgery. i just want to rip it off and burn it.
* there is so much food everywhere. we're having two week-long events going on at work and they both have a lot of food. then i have all the leftovers at home from this weekend.

I had lost a lot of weight because I was super stressed at work and now I've accepted a new job and am waiting to start so I am less stressed and am eating everything in sight.

Planned on going for a walk in a local park after work to start and kickoff my exercise regimen. I am now hungry and tired after a cup of coffee. So now I'm not doing it.

Re: So what first world problems are we having lately?
My kids are begging me to go to the Bronx zoo this week. I would rather have needles stuck in my eyeballs. But we all just came off a 10 day quarantine. They were so good about staying home, not being allowed to go to school or activities, not seeing any family on Easter, and they are on spring break this week, DH is home this week...but I am so not feeling family zoo fun.

Some schools were closed today, but NYC public schools and most other schools are open the rest of the week, so it shouldn't be too bad (my guess). But, I recommend getting the membership. If you have 5 people, it practically pays for itself in one visit. Then, any other visits for the rest of the year are essentially free. And, because of Covid, you need to make a reservation in advance, so make sure you can actually get a time slot.

We went last Monday and hardly saw any animals because of the lines. It was a waste.
However, NOTHING and I mean NOTHING could have been worse than the Norwalk aquarium. They have timed entry and I don’t know who is on the other end of the booking software but they must have been asleep because there is no way they could legally pack that many people in there. You couldn’t move.

I found a nice top for my DDs birthday party but because my mom pouch is out of control I can't find a bottom that I like...sigh. I just ordered a pair of high waisted jeans from ON and I'm hoping they do the trick

My coworker is so annoying. She thinks she knows everything but she doesn't. She told me I did something wrong so I fixed it as per her instructions and now she's telling me it is wrong. Um, I did what you told me!

Re: So what first world problems are we having lately?
I have an unexpected day off tomorrow and want to take the kids somewhere since it's going to be so nice. I went to go purchase tickets for the Bronx Zoo and forgot tomorrow is the free day and tickets are released at 5:00 PM on Monday and sold out. So now I don't know where to take them... White Post Farms? Coney Island Aquarium- my aunt takes my DD there a lot. We went to the Riverhead Aquarium in January.... I don't know!
