BTW, why do they not make laces on toddlers shoes?! Don't these manufacturers realize that velcro is a joke to any child over 12 months...
There is more of a selection of toddler shoes WITH laces than without, especially for 15 month olds.

Really? Where? and I'm not being facetious...I looked everywhere and all sneakers are velcro - it's so frustrating. He's a size 5

The outlet in Lake Success has girls' sneakers with laces. Abby pulls her shoes off too. I much prefer laces.
When she was a newborn, I had her out at a restaurant. I picked her up and a lady yelled for me to put socks on her. She did have socks on. Her skin was just as pink as her socks and they blended in. So you can't win. Damned if you do. Damned if you dont.
