someone tell me im not a horrible dog mommy
so on mondays and tuesdays i usually leave for work about 45 minutes after DH in the mornings. today, for some reason, DH was still in bed when i left the house at 8
since im the last one out on these days, im always the one to feed hershey before i leave... for some reason i didnt think to tell DH that he needed to feed him... i thought that he would have known that i didnt feed him 
so around 11am i get this random thought of oh no i hope DH knew to feed hershey... so i called him. no answer. work was CRAZY this morning and i didnt get to sit back down till about 1pm i called DH. asked him if he fed hershey, he said no. i freaked!!! the thought of hershey sitting home by himself with NO BREAKFAST totally broke my heart!!!!! 
i called up to my boss and told her that i needed to use some comp time to head home and feed the dog and that i would head out to my group home i needed to do a visit with after that... she said no problem. i came home and hugged hershey for a good 10 minutes telling him how sorry we were not to have fed him this morning!!
i fed him a little extra and took him for a long walk. i feel like a horrible dog mommy

You are TERRIBLE!!! Ok not really.  I wouldn't worry about it too much, he seemed fine right? That's nice that you left work to go home to him and take care of him.
I'd totally be giving him some kind of special treat tonight.

that was nice of you to go home. I think one day would of been so awful but that is a good mommy to come home to make sure the bowl was filled.

Some days Dallas isn't even hungary till dinner time. He refuses his food at Breakfast & lunch. I think it's fine. Most times humans skip breakfast & we're fine too.
