Ok so I decided to get my girls vaccinated against both flus. I had the appointments for Nov. 2nd because I had to wait until Erin was 6 months. So the day before the appt. I got a call from the office telling me that they didn't have the flu or h1n1 for Marron and didn't have the h1n1 for Erin. I went ahead and got Erin the regular flu vaccine. They told me to keep calling to see when they get the vaccines in again, as they were expecting them any day.

So last Friday when I called they said they got the h1n1 in and told me the first appt. they had available for them to get the vaccines was Nov. 19th. I told them that I was not happy, as Erin was diagnosed with Failure To Thrive, and I didn't want to risk her getting sick and not eating right for a week, and then ending up back where we started. They said they were sorry, but they couldn't help me, but that I could call back every day to see if they had any cancellations since they still didn't have the regular flu shot in. So I've been calling every day. Yesterday when I called they still had nothing for this week, but told me to call again today, as they might get cancellations for Friday. So I called again today and they said they are OUT of the vaccine!!! ***?????

This office is being so strict and only giving the vaccine to people who have appts for the vaccine -- not to anybody who goes in for a sick visit and asks for it while they are there. The reason I'm so ****** is that people who had appts for AFTER my kids were able to get the vaccine just because they were lucky enough to have had their appts on the "right" day, when they had it in stock, while I HAD an appt which got pushed back because they didn't have it and now my kid has to wait AGAIN!! And, because she is only 6 months, she needs 2 shots and won't have full immunity until late January if we're lucky!! I think I'm going to call and voice my displeasure the to the doctor himself.
