BIL (DH's bro) came with us to see a house we had an offer on. He spent a while pointing out important potential issues (a mini home inspection) - think I should get him a small gift? A gift certificate somewhere or something? I know home inpsections are a few hundred dollars.

If it's DH's bro, I would let DH handle it. He'll know better what, if anything, would be appropriate. I know that my sibs don't give me anything when I help them out...
