So......the mom of the boy who slept with teacher is suing...

If the kid wasn't 16 I guess I could see some merit in a case like this, but I highly doubt he's experiencing the emotional issues his mother is claiming he has. What kid is going to be made fun of for getting it on with their attractive teacher?

This was my high school, by the way. Though I don't think this teacher was there yet while I was a student.

I didnt read the article but was she tutoring him privately and also a teacher in his school? I ask bc the doe has conflict of interest Policies. We arent suppose to tutor anyone from you own school....so maybe an argument is being made that the school should have realized this and stopped it (far fetched?)

I was alone with my male 10th grade English teacher all the time. He was awesome. I also spent a lot of time with my female art and Latin teachers, they were cool too. I would never think twice about a male/female teacher spending time with a student.... It's their job.

It's not the schools fault that this happened, it's probably not the parents fault either. It's the pervy teacher's fault. The parents should sue her if they're looking for someone to blame. If they really believe their son is a victim they should spend their time taking care of him. JMHO.
