South Beach question.
Gearing up to start it on Monday. Does anyone know if we can eat veggie burgers in Phase 1?????????? Oh, i really hope so. I'm a big fan of the Dr. Praeger burgers.

I don't think it would be the worst offense but if you look at the ingredients & the amount of carbs from them then I don't think they'd be allowed. They are made with carrots (1st ingredient), corn and oat bran. None of those items are allowed in phase 1.

i actually had the book..i bought it at least 10 years ago and found it..the book does list all the foods we can and can't have, but i didn't see veggie burgers listed. Also the book I have has a ton of recipes and sample menus but it doesn't outline how much of everything i should be eating. In other words how much red meat duing one week, how much protein per day.etc., How many pieces of cheese per day.
