Spin-off: Co-workers who feel they are not in the wrong
I've had co-workers actually say to me "Oh he likes you more" or "You're his girl" if they get in trouble with our boss for not doing something they are supposed to be doing.
Another co-worker came to me in confidence and said that she's heard the same thing towards her and that some of our co-workers feel that our boss likes us more because we "are younger and more attractive".
Anyone deal with a similar environment at work, when you clearly know that there is NOT favoritism going on?
FWIW: I also used to supervise the two major culprits so KNOW first-hand what my boss is up against.

I'm surprised no one has commented on this!
Bumping this back up again because it happened again today with a co-worker.

Re: Spin-off: Co-workers who feel they are not in the wrong
I don't know..in my experience, the co-workers that DO get favoritism - it is because they suck up or hang out with the bosses outside of work.
Not saying that is what you do, that has just been my experience always.
I'd never say it to someone though, but everyone knows who the brownnosers are.
Then again, I get passes sometimes if I screw up, but it's generally because I rarely do and work hard, which is probably your experience, as well.
