Re: Spin off to Noreen's post about "me" time for working moms...
Once a week I take a horseback riding lesson. But when my trainer is away, I don't get that time.
I also wish for alone time in my house without anybody. The last time I had time in my house alone was about a month ago when I wanted to do a deep cleaning and my mom took DD for a few hours. But I had an agenda. It was not to relax.

I don't get a lot of me time. My me time is being on here at work while I ignore my boss.
GREAT LINE!!!! forgot who posted it :)
no "me" time for me. except the 30 mins every monday when DH drives DS to MIL for the day- its a window of time from when they leave the house till I have to leave for work. and like everyone else, its SO NOT real "me" time. I'm preparing dinner for that night.

Re: Spin off to Noreen's post about "me" time for working moms...
I consider my lunchhour to be "my" time - I am required to take an hour for lunch, so that's when I do some shopping, take a walk, meet up with friends at a cafe, etc.
Other than that, yes, every once in a while, I'll leave Alex with DH to go shopping or to meet up with friends. I just left her with DH last week to visit my friend who just had a baby, and to go out to dinner.

My me time is at work really, my job is much easier than looking after a kid and a house!!! Honestly, I do feel that way. Also, my evenings are me time, although they are spent with my husband, they are for ME!!!

I have been saving up like crazy for the gym. It means I had to give up other things, but going to the gym gives me at least an hour of "me" time, and whenever I need it (provided DH is home to watch Cailen) I swear, I slowly feel my sanity coming back. As well as my nice biceps!

I'm good on the "me" time right now. I get out and walk around during lunch at work.
I just went on a 4-day GREAT vacation to Chicago with my girlfriends over Labor Day. That'll hold me over for a while.

Yeah. I do. DH leaves for work at 9pm and DS is sleeping, so the dog and I hang out, do some cleaning, come on here and watch bad tv
