Spinoff - what is your favorite kid friendly beach?

We like the sprinkler park section of West Meadow Beach. The beach itself is rocky, but we are perfectly happy to stay in the sprinkler section.

Ug so tough -- anywhere that is easy to get to (Zach's Bay, Venetian Shores), I don't like the water quality.
Wantagh Park and Forest Park are great. What about Long Beach?

Re: Spinoff - what is your favorite kid friendly beach?
Good question. Curious to hear the responses. I haven't been to any around here. Prior to this year I was spoiled bc we belonged to a beach club in Atlantic Beach and that's where we have been going for the last 8 years.

When we were living in LI, we loved Point Lookout. We plan on spending 4th of July weekend in LI, and I can't wait to take the kids back there! CT beaches just aren't the same!

Tobay beach. Bay side, sprinkler section, ocean side.
I like Jones Beach Field 6 handicaped access ramp. Great if you need to haul everything on a stroller.

Yup! Love it! It's perfect! My other favorite is hecksher field 6... we went today and yesterday. I also think Corey beach is good too.
