spinoff- do you feel comfortable taking seats that people offer you?
do you always take a seat if someone offers it to you?
do you feel bad or shy about taking their seatl?
to answer my own qs:
i'll take a seat if it is offered but only if i know it's going to be a long ride for me.. i dont care if i stand for a few train stops.. sometime there is standing room only on my bus ride to NJ. Depending if there is a lot of traffic, it could be a long ride for me..
i do feel a little bad at first when i accept a seat.. i dont know why. i guess i feel very humbled..

I normally don't take the seat on the subway unless I'm really exhausted (like today, I've had cramps all day, TMI is the reason though). On the LIRR I normally get a seat anyway, so I haven't had that happen, but def. on the LIRR I want a seat (I'm on there for 1.5 hours)

In the morning I don't usually take a seat on the subway because I feel better then/have more energy. Going home is a different story. My back hurts and I'm tired and I'm going from Fulton St to Astoria so it's a trip, I gladly take a seat if offered.
