Spinoff of balanced LIPA

for those of you whose bill is roughly $120-$150 per month, how large is your home; if you know the square footage/

We are purchasing soon and I am trying to get some idea of what we may pay

I'm not sure of the square footage. I've noticed that our LIPA bill varies with the season. It will be $140- 150 on months we don't use a/c. The last bill I received was $266 and that was through July, I believe. We have two dogs and we turn on the a/c a little earlier than usual to keep the pups comfortable. We close all room doors where we don't want the dogs wandering into. I know this helps alot with cutting the a/c use. I'm sure the next bill which I will get in September will be over $325 b/c of the hotter days we've had. I don't do balance billing. We have an electric stove.

It really depends on how much electricity you use. The previous owners' bill was $120 a month. We kept that rate, but then after a few months they started to lower it. We've now been using $57 worth of electricity, and have a + balance with Lipa that we will get back at the end of the first year.

So in the samehouse, we used 1/2 the electricity as the previous owners.
