Re: Spinoff-So, how much do YOU pay for healthcare?
$7 per month for EVERYTHING! I hate the idea that the bill passed too. I fear it will mess things up down the road for those of us that HAVE it.

Re: Spinoff-So, how much do YOU pay for healthcare?
We don't pay anything. My DH"s job covers the family medical and dental.
When we were covered under me in South carolina, we were paying over $300 for a real basic plan with a $1000 deductible.

For DH and I- 46 bucks a week. Employer pays about 80 percent. Not bad...

Re: Spinoff-So, how much do YOU pay for healthcare?
I'm a federal employee and with the cheapest, most bare bones coverage, I still have to pay about $300 per month for my family. And, of course, that didn't ever include my fertility treatments. In 2008, I spent about $30k out of pocket for fertilty treatments

Re: Spinoff-So, how much do YOU pay for healthcare?
None, thank god. the city pays for medical in full for city workers. the union dues pick up vision, dental and Rx.
If we went through my work, it would be about $350.00 a month for the family plan (20% of premium) plus another $50-$100 a month for dental and vision.

for dh, myself and my son, I pay $230.00 a month for my blue shield/blue cross. my vision and dental are through my union and that cost me nothing and they are really great plans.

Re: Spinoff-So, how much do YOU pay for healthcare?
I am on my DH's plan and we dont pay anything toward the annual premiums. DH is a union carpenter and his premiums are covered by his employer's contributions as long as he works a certain number of hours each year. I think its 1000 hours.
We have the typical copays for office visits and prescriptions.
