Spinoff to cleaning person question.
I'm feeling very overwhelmed at home with working 9 bazillion jobs. And apparently, I am the only person who is skeeved out by the dirty bathroom and the in-need-of-mopping floors.
How much is a weekly cleaning person. Or even bi-weekly? I have a 6 bedroom, 2 bath house if that helps. Also, if you have a dog, how do you work around that?
TIA

Re: Spinoff to cleaning person question.
A few people (and I) have a cleaning person who comes biweekly. She charges depending on the size of the house (and if you have kids to clean up after, etc.) its anywhere between 65 and 85 every other week

Re: Spinoff to cleaning person question.
That isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I need to find some more tutoring jobs to pay for it, though.

Re: Spinoff to cleaning person question.
I can't do it either. The kids help, but it's not enough. And my DH is an idiot. It's a big stress on me lately.

Re: Spinoff to cleaning person question.
Mine washes the dishes by filling the dishwasher, not running it. Then he fills the non-stick pans up to soak. So when I get up at 5am that's what I get to see. Dude, they are non-stick, they don't need to soak. Then I get tricked when I go to empty the dishwasher to set the table for dinner and BAM they're still dirty.
So I don't expect help from anyone at any time.

Re: Spinoff to cleaning person question.
my DH doesn't even see messes- it's amazing
he doesn't care, he would live in a garbage dump - so gross
I normally have to clean for the cleaning lady to come and she is still here for 6 to 7 hours
I gave up on him- it's not worth it- he just says hire someone anyway
ETA- jake does the same thing with the dishwasher- and he loads it completely weird
I could keep a live in busy!
