Spinoff to ideal age gap: regarding twins
If you had twins how long did you wait to have another? Where both you and your Dh ready and willing to have baby #3?

My husband's ideal age gap would be none as he would like to be done. he says if I really want another he will go for it. Being that we did IVF for these guys not sure about it. I am in the midst of no sleep for almost 5 months though so check back with me in about a year

I think if we had had twins first, DH would probably have been done. He is a wtin and his parents had his sister 3 years after twin boys.

mine are just about 2 and were a big shock to us. They had a long nicu stay and my dh (and me) are worried about having to go through that again. I had preterm labor with no other symptoms. We keep going back and forth about starting this summer. We are both worried for that reason and financially.

Well chances are there was a reason but the Dr's did not catch it. I would suggest starting out with a high risk ob just in case. Good luck whatever you decide
