Spinoff to my mother's day question - Father's day

What should I do for DH for father's day?

Ironically, his 1st father's day with Cailen happens to also be our 1st yr wedding anniversary

We are broke, so I am limited with what I can do

any good suggestions?

TIA!

I would say maybe cook him a nice breakfast and give him a day off from any baby duty, all that is free.

Every year I buy DH a t-shirt from Walmart (its $10 I think) that says "Best Dad" on it. It comes with paint, so I put the kid's handprints and footprints in it every year.

I definitely like the breakfast idea... Chat Icon I'm thinking that since it's Father's day, let him spend time with DS, except for the negative parts. Diaper changes, or anything else DH doesn't enjoy. That way, the whole day is spent with just good times with DS. Not that changing diapers isn't fun..... Chat Icon

No - he loves doing all that stuff because he is so busy during the week he doesnt get to spend any time with him - he loves all the daddy duty stuff!

I like the T-shirt idea!!!
